1.   Indoor Archery World Cup Stages (IAWCS)1.1 There will be three (3) IAWCS in 2012-2013 for recurve and compound divisions in indoor archery, male and female.

> Singapore (December 2012)

> Nîmes, France (January 2013)

> Las Vegas, USA (February 2013)

Archers wishing to qualify for the IAWCF MUST compete at least in two of the three IAWCS, including the Las Vegas tournament.

1.2   Competition Format

Singapore and Nîmes will have the same format:

> Qualification round, 60 arrows at 18 meters on tri-spot 40cm target faces.

> Elimination round starting on 1/16 elimination round through the gold final, all individual matches will use the set system. It consists in the best of 5 sets of 3 arrows. (Alternate shooting – 20 sec. per arrow will be used to shoot 1 arrow on the gold finals) on a vertical tri-spot 40cm FITA target face.

Las Vegas ranking will be taken on the two first days of competition at the World Archery Festival (60 arrows)-based on Las Vegas format

1.3   The following competitions will be organised in each of the IAWCS:

> Individual (Recurve Men, Recurve Women, Compound Men, Compound Women)

1.4   Points for the IAWCR may be won at any and all of the IAWCS. All three IAWCS hold the same value for World Cup purposes.

1.5   Archers ranked in the top 16 positions in each IAWCS will win points for the IAWCR.

Points will be awarded based on the following table:

1st place:      25 points                   9th place:     5 points

2nd place:     21 points                 10th place:     5 points

3rd place:     18 points                 11th place:     5 points

4th place:     15 points                 12th place:     5 points

5th place:     13 points                 13th place:     5 points

6th place:     12 points                 14th place:     5 points

7th place:     11 points                 15th place:     5 points

8th place:     10 points                 16th place:     5 points

An archer who has won points in all three IAWCS will only have his top two results added for the IAWCR (top two results from Singapore, Nîmes and Las Vegas)

1.6   After finishing with the three IAWCS, and with the final ranking list, the top sixteen (16) archers in the IAWCR for each of the four individual categories (Recurve Men, Recurve Women, Compound Men, Compound Women) will qualify for the IAWCF.

1.7   Ties in the IAWCR will be solved on the following basis:

Between rank No 1 and 15:

> A toin coss (per computer)

For rank No 16 (the cut):

> Ranking at Las Vegas stage

> If the tie persists, archers’ ranking in Singapore and Nîmes tournament (best ranking from both tournament)

> If still unsolved, a shoot-off will be made at the beginning of the Final in Last Vegas

2.   Indoor Archery World Cup Final (IAWCF)

2.1   The 2013 AWCIF will be held in Las Vegas (USA) on February 2013.

2.2   The qualified archers will be known after the second round of World Archery Festival in Las Vegas. All archers willing to participate to the final have to participate in the Las Vegas Tournament.

2.3   All individual matches will use the set system. It consists in the best of 5 sets of 3 arrows. (Alternate shooting – 20 sec. per arrow will be used to shoot 1 arrow on the gold finals) on a tri-spot 40cm FITA target face. Spots must be in-line.

2.4   The Compound division, both women and men, will shoot counting the X ring as 10, and the recurve 10-ring as 9.

2.5   Following the FITA Rules, arrows diameter will be limited to 2315 caliber.

Archers in each category will be positioned from 1 to 16 following their position in the AWCIR 2012. Then, they will be paired following the elimination chart (1st with the 16th, 2nd with the 15th…etc). Therefore the competition will start in 1/8 finals, followed by the ¼ finals, ½ finals and Bronze & Gold Medal matches.

2.6   The exact competition schedule and details of the AWCIF will be communicated on www.worldarchery.org.

3.   Prizes

The top four participants in each division in the individual competition will receive as “prize money” at the AWCIF:

1st place:   3,500 USD

2nd place:  2,500 USD

3rd place:  1,500 USD

4.   Related Information about Las Vegas Competitions

In 2013, the indoor archery events in Las Vegas:

> The Las Vegas World Archery Festival, meaning the annually, traditional Las Vegas archery tournament and trade show in February. The first two days of this event count as the Indoor Archery World Cup Stage.

> The Indoor Archery World Cup Final on February 2013.

5.   Legal Framework

These Indoor Archery World Cup Rules will follow the provision set in the FITA Constitution and Rules, except for any specification mentioned in these rules.

In case of misunderstanding due to translation of these rules, the English version will be referred to.

FITA and the organisers reserve the rights to change these rules at any time.
